THE STORY OF CASA SIMEON
Casa Simeon is a colonial heritage house built almost a century ago—circa 1920—by the late Simeon and Beatrice Alparce. Standing in the heart of Bacacay, Albay, the property is a living testament to the region’s rich cultural and architectural history, blending Spanish and American colonial influences with the warmth of Bicolano heritage.
The walls of Casa Simeon are lined with wooden panels that date back to the galleon trade era, each telling a story of craftsmanship and legacy that has endured for generations. Today, the property has been lovingly preserved and thoughtfully restored to welcome guests who wish to experience authentic Bicolano hospitality in a genuinely historic setting.
More Than a Place to Stay
Casa Simeon is more than just an accommodation. We are a destination in its own right. Guests come to explore, to dine on heirloom recipes, to step inside the library and museum, and to unwind on the veranda with the iconic silhouette of Mayon Volcano at their side. Every corner of the property invites curiosity, connection, and a deep appreciation for Albay’s heritage.
This is the Casa Simeon – where love and laughter is shared!
